SX IN THE CITY, a social series designed for meeting friends, dates, and new connections through art and conversation.
This is a Museum Meet Cute for curiosity.
The Met is one of those rare spaces in New York where time slows down.
I can wander for hours, get lost between rooms, and find myself standing in front of something that actually makes me feel something.
Part of the allure is the scale, with over two million works spanning centuries, all in one place. You look around and think… they just let me in here? How is this possible.
we’ll explore the galleries with light prompts, find a piece that moves us, and let art lead the conversation.
after, we’ll head out for an after party to keep the night flowing.

HOW IT WORKS:

⚠️ this is not a private event the museum will be open to the public.
entry is free for NYC residents, but expect a crowd.
we’ll meet as a group at on the steps 3:30 PM sharp.
SCHEDULE:
🕕 3:30 PM — group arrival + mix on the steps
🖼️ 4:30ish explore the contemporary wing + play art match
🍸 6:30 PM — rooftop cocktails (8th floor)
🎷 7:00PM — after party at the spring opening of The Public Roof
