Let’s celebrate the inventors of the University of Arizona!
On World Intellectual Property Day we acknowledge the importance of intellectual property and how it drives innovation that helps improve lives and make the world a better place.
We gather to celebrate our University of Arizona colleagues as they receive their commemorative coins as inventors on U.S. patents.
As a land-grant university, innovations from the UA have been creating societal impact for over a hundred years, and many of those innovations got their start in our agricultural programs. So this year, we are hosting World IP Day at the UA Agricultural Center! We'll celebrate outdoors with food and beverages, and present patent coins to all of the great innovators who have had patents issued in the past year.
