You are enthusiastically invited to the celebration of the life of the New York City icon, the Metrocard, on her final day of service. We gather to mourn, to honor, and to carry on the memory of our beloved Metrocard. This is an informal, yet deeply meaningful memorial/funeral service. All-black attire is encouraged but not necessary just show up as your beautiful selves:) Also, this event is a celebration not just of the Metrocard, but what it means to our beautiful NYC community, so bring poems, art, songs, flowers, friends etc! This event will be held at Washington square park at the part of the fountain closest to the Arch (if you need help finding it text me @718-354-6700)
