Alumni Day is a bit like Reunions condensed into 1 day, but without the tents, P-rade, class activities, or cost.
Separately, AASA, CAF and A4P will host a reception at CAF. Hang out with alumni and students. Take part in a Career speed networking session. Participate in the Tiger Threads Program (see link above). Food and refreshments will be provided. This event is free for alumni and guests -- please register in advance so that we can plan for the right amount of food.
In addition, many students have asked to meet alumni individually, with the hope of establishing a personal connection and learning more about how Princeton has impacted your career and how they might better utilize their time at Princeton. But many students are a bit shy with respect to approaching alumni. Therefore we are introducing the Tiger Threads program for the day! If you are interested in matching with a current undergrad, please fill out the form by February 17!
We've come up with a couple of ways of facilitating these discussions and reducing the level of angst:
1. Take a student to lunch at Jadwin. The lunch is part of the school's activities, and is free for you and up to 3 guests. Once we pair you with a student, please go back to your University registration and add the student to your reservation.
2. Take a tour of campus with a student guide. Navigating the campus with all its construction detours is no easy task if you haven't been to campus for a few years. You can arrange a time/place to meet that is mutually convenient for you and the student. This tour can take place at any time during the day.
Please sign up for the Tiger Threads Program using the link at the top of this page. Questions? reach out to Akaneh Wang '24 (akanehwang@gmail.com), Tiffanie Cheng Wu '24 (tiffaniecheng8@gmail.com), Anu Vedantham *94 (vedantha@alumni.princeton.edu) or Benny Mah '82 (bpmah1@verizon.net).
