Hi, this summer I will be hosting my very first “God-Centered” event. PLEASE READ UNTIL THE END BEFORE PURCHASING. Why “Kid’N’Me”? •When I think of all the things that fulfill my hearts desires in my 20s, it always circles back to what I knew between 6-15 years young. •We have been conditioned to believe that with age comes responsibility and the way you enjoy life has to completely change. No more play time unless you work for it and even then, it’s limited to societies standards that aren’t truly fulfilling but add more stress. •Many people, in and out of churches, are stuck in “idle mode” seeking to understand what Gods love truly consist of. The purpose of Kid’N’Me? •Kids are the closest blessing from God and no matter how many birthdays we have, a part of us is still that little kid that needs to be comforted by the one who created us. So let’s have fun as we explore! •Enjoying life in the simplest ways, with no harm to ourselves or others, is a big part of life. Yes we must leave immature ways, though climbing trees, playing with puzzles, and games that help us smile and stay active, etc. These simple things improve our mental, emotional, and physical health. So let’s find joy in our works! •A space for individuals to feel safe in community where, no matter the religion, we all see each other as one, created by the one, with different entrusted purposes is important for growth. So let’s enjoy each other’s company as we embrace our own! This event is to encourage growth and grace for where we are currently in our journeys, potentially build community, help you accept the “kid in you” and love the ones around you even more. But the main goal of this event? Is to let everyone know Gods love isn’t limited between four walls, achievements, or at certain times. Thy love and joy isn’t defined by societal views. The world that God created is Thy land to be praised upon. Praise from anywhere! How? By prayer, in and out of community, and by finding many ways to enjoy life even in the midst of chaos or unknown because believe it or not, our troubles are temporary but our creator is everlasting. Gods love is so much more simple than we think so let’s relax, kick back, connect with natural blessings, and love on the Kid’N’US. No matter your religion, your path, your imperfections, your age, or uncertainty. As God saw us all worthy for another day, all are welcomed. :) Be sure to sign up for text blast! I will message everyone with the address after ticket is purchased, between 30 and 15 days before the event. Crete, IL is the city and state. This is an event to remove judgement and enhance helping one another, stay connected, and reconnect. Respect is a nonnegotiable for host, staff, and those around you.
