As part of MONAD’s global exhibition series, this Juneteenth Photography Exhibition celebrates the power of visual storytelling, honoring Black history, culture, identity, and the ongoing pursuit of freedom and self-expression.
Bringing together photographers from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, the exhibition presents a collective reflection on heritage, community, resilience, joy, and the many experiences that shape contemporary life. Through portraiture, documentary photography, street photography, fine art, and personal narratives, each image offers a unique perspective while contributing to a broader conversation about culture and human connection.
Presented over three days with a different group of artists featured each day, the exhibition creates space for a wide range of voices and stories to be seen and celebrated. Together, these works highlight photography’s ability to preserve history, inspire dialogue, and capture the moments that define who we are.
This exhibition is not only a celebration of artistic excellence but also a tribute to the spirit of Juneteenth, a recognition of progress, remembrance, and the enduring importance of sharing stories across generations.
