Church of the First Mark presents - a Day of Making at Lighthaven! Church of the First Mark is newly established church, devoted to the idea that making things, all sorts of things, is sacred. You can read more about us at firstmarkchurch.org. On September 6, we'll be hosting another festival of making, this time in Berkeley at Lighthaven! Read on for details and link for tickets below: Lighthaven is generously giving us an incredible deal to use the space but it isn't free. Part of the fee has been generously provided by an anonymous donor (THANK YOU ANONYMOUS DONOR ♥️) so tickets are less expensive this time around! Please buy your ticket at https://www.firstmarkchurch.org/events. $15 covers the cost of the venue, and includes soft drinks and snacks. Additional donations to help cover the cost of materials are greatly appreciated. Do you have a project you've been wanting to work on? Bring it and spend the day with other industrious makers at the best venue in town. Don't have a project yet? Not to worry, we will have so much for you to do. We'll have stations set up for -crocheting/knitting -sewing/mending -drawing/painting -leather working -jewelry making at least - we'll let you know as we add more!
