Join us for an evening of medicine songs, connection, and heart-led expression with Shylah Ray ☀️ in Newalla at ONESpirit NAC.
Shylah Ray Sunshine is a multi- award winning Indigenous vocalist of Algonquin heritage. She has been working with plant medicine for over 20 years, with the understanding that healing and music originate from the same source. For Shylah, music and ceremony have always been connected — the sacredness of one lives inside the other. Shylah has facilitated hundreds of gatherings including vocal workshops, song circles and plant medicine ceremonies.

This vocal workshop and song circle is a space to come as you are with no performance or pressure, just voices weaving together in rhythm and presence.
Through simple songs, call-and-response, and moments of listening, we’ll create a circle rooted in belonging and collective prayer. This is about remembering the power of our voices when we sing together.
We are honored to gather in community and let the music move us gently, honestly, and from the heart.
✨ There will be a Cacao offering. Please bring your voices, your instruments and a dish or beverage to share. You are welcome to invite close friends.
