On Wednesday 29 April, Wednesdays celebrates a century of events in the only way we know how: a grand banquet with none other than Celestial Peach (aka Jenny Lau)💯🎊✨🥳
We’ve followed Jenny for years, enjoying her food across her many supper clubs at the ESEA Centre. For our 100th event celebration, Jenny’s pulling out all the stops with a 7-course feast 🤯🏮🍑
100 is a typical turn of phrase in Chinese that means “endless” and each course has been designed with longevity in mind. Highlights include century eggs, “hundred flower” whole chicken stuffed with shrimp paste , steamed turbot “of abundance” and hidden treasure rice with heaps of Jenny’s X.O. sauce for good measure 🥢🐓🐟
To finish, Wednesdays member Shell Moroney will be baking up a “100 birthday” cake, there’ll be goodie bags, maybe even speeches, and at least a few more cheeky surprises 🤫🎂🎁
