Entangled Skin: Where Does the Dust Alight?
本來無一物,何處惹塵埃
Originally there is not a single thing; where could dust arise?
— Huineng, 7th century
We warmly invite you to a trio show presenting works by Kyoko Takenaka, Heng Yi, and Daniel Touff in a monochrome exhibition that examines dust as elemental matter—shared by bodies, landscapes, and images alike. Drawing from Taoist and Zen thought alongside ideas of quantum entanglement, the exhibition approaches skin and landscape as porous, interdependent conditions. Through ink wash, drawing, photography, and video, juxtaposing classics and contemporary, the form emerges through restraint, accumulation, and impermanence.

Please note: The exhibition takes place within a private live/work residential building. Kindly respect neighbors and shared spaces. Use the intercom at the gate for access, in case it does not work, you may call 646-573-6481.
