Afro Fiesta's band members consist of three members, Jason Tamba, Merman's Mosengo, and Jose' Agote. Their music is full of songs that are a fusion of various styles including Afro-jazz, Kwasa-Kwasa, Makosa, and hints of Latin music. Widely considered innovators in the entertainment industry, Afro Fiesta has performed at numerous music festivals including Jazz on the Rocks, Joy of Jazz, OBZ Festival, Light Festival and Africa Day Celebrations. The band is a part of the 'Playing for Change' family, where they have helped to bring music classes and instruments to townships in South Africa. Come join us in Matter Studio Gallery May 15, 7-9pm to enjoy these amazing voices creating Change and lifting our Spirits!
