For one Thursday night in Long Island City, Eternal Wind — the NYC jazz sextet ensemble led by guitarist Owen Chen — transforms the music of Studio Ghibli, Anime, Video Game Music, and Hans Zimmer into an immersive live jazz journey.
The NYC modern jazz ensemble behind New York's popular sold-out Ghibli & Anime nights at the Red Pavilion — with their debut album "The Ghibli Collection" album out on Origin Records — brings the music of Studio Ghibli, familiar Anime, video game music, and Hans Zimmer film scores to life through live improvisation to Rewind, LIC.
Familiar themes you'll recognize in a heartbeat, opened up into something that's never played the same way twice - emotionally rich and creatively adventurous.
