Join The Nuyorican Poets as we kick off Puerto Rican Day Parade Weekend and Pride Month with an open mic at The Nonbinarian Bookstore (1130 President St, Brooklyn, NY 11225)! On June 7th at 2:30PM, we are giving the spotlight to all BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ poets to share their stories in a space which highlights marginalized voices when we need it most. The event is free for all BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ identifying. If you are an ally, we ask that you please make a small donation. RSVPs are REQUIRED since space is limited. Reminders: The Nonbinarian Bookstore is a sober space & masks are required.
