New York has problems. You have ideas. Let's build.
This hackathon is open to everyone — no experience required. Whether you're an engineer, designer, student, community organizer, policy wonk, or simply someone who cares about New York City's future, there's a place for you here. Teams of up to 4 will collaborate to build AI-powered solutions tackling real urban sustainability challenges, from energy efficiency and green infrastructure to waste and climate resilience. You'll have 3 hours to build, then present your project to our judging panel from CMU and CalTech. Show up with curiosity, leave with something you built, an award to show for it, and a community of people working toward a better city. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
