New York has problems. You have ideas. Let's build. This hackathon is open to everyone — no experience required. Whether you're an engineer, designer, student, community organizer, policy wonk, or simply someone who cares about New York City's future, there's a place for you here. Teams of up to 4 will collaborate to build AI-powered solutions tackling real urban sustainability challenges, from energy efficiency and green infrastructure to waste and climate resilience. You'll have 3 hours to build, then present your project to our judging panel from CMU, CalTech, Columbia & Stanford. Show up with curiosity, leave with something you built, an award to show for it, and a community of people working toward a better city. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.
