Join Circuit Network and Felonious for a staged reading of our brand new Hip-Hop Theater piece THE BAG
ABOUT THE SHOW:
In the wake of Hip Hop's 50th anniversary, four estranged emcees in their 50s reunite for a gig at a tech entrepreneur's party. Despite their initial reluctance, they agree to perform, but only for the money. THE BAG is one part live Hip Hop concert, one part love letter to the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, and one part meditation on the survival of how four artists struggling to be seen see each other. The show explores fractured friendships, creative sacrifice, and the collision between artistic passion and commercial survival through live hip-hop performance and theatrical storytelling.
The show is written, composed, and performed by Felonious (Carlos Aguirre aka Infinite, Keith Pinto, Tommy Soulati Shepherd, Dan Wolf), and features Alicia Nelson
