Except they have an up-and-coming queer horror novel that needs to be written this weekend.
That's how they find themselves isolated in a most-definitely-not-haunted house in the middle of a thunderstorm, trying to write. At the onset of bizarre happenings, they realize the scary stories and demons in their heads might be more than mere ideas.
