Hilma af Klint: “The Five” Séance
A workshop of automatism and spiritual abstractions of Hilma af Klint and The Five.
You will:
1. Learn about Hilma af Klint’s art career.
2. Examine her method and technique.
3. Exercise automatism and spirit abstraction.
4. Develop color theory skills
5. Participate in a re-enactment of "The Five", a séance of known and unknown spirits.
6. Practice art discussion and interpretation.
Music:
Swedish musical timeline, beginning in Hilma af Klint's era (1910~) through the decades, skipping over ABBA, then later jumping back to ABBA.
