Discover the vibrant and often hidden history of Boston’s LGBTQ+ community on this two-hour walking tour led by Lavender Education. Beginning at City Hall Plaza, we’ll explore the streets where queer stories were made, and too often forgotten.
Along the way, you’ll uncover the legacy of radical youth organizers, landmark court cases, and community spaces that not only shaped Boston but also helped define LGBTQ+ life across the nation. From stories of resistance and resilience to celebrations of pride, this tour brings Boston’s queer past to life in the very places it unfolded.
This event is free to attend, with a suggested donation of $20 to support the Bisexual Resource Center’s work. Donations can be made online in advance or at the event.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, weather-ready clothing, and a sense of curiosity.
