This in-person 6-week monologue workshop is for performers who’ve been curious about Shakespeare but held back by fear, confusion, or the idea that it’s “not for them.”
Through clear, actor-friendly techniques, you’ll uncover how Shakespeare’s characters think, what they want, and how they pursue their goals moment by moment.
You’ll learn how to:
• Use iambic pentameter as a tool for thought and action
• Discover your character’s objectives, motivations, and embedded actions
• Act the verse with clarity, confidence, and truth
Open to all experience levels
Limited to 6 participants | Includes a 1-on-1 virtual coaching session
About Your Instructor:
Ryan Paul is an Austin-based actor and former English professor with 15 years of experience teaching Shakespeare.
