Hi everyone! The first NVC workshop I hosted in July went very well and now we are having a more refined reprise of the same! This time we are going to experiment with sandwiching the more passive learning with one hour of group application activites at the start and another hour of group application to actual conflicts at end of our time together. We will have chairs and air conditioning but you’re welcome to bring comfy floor seating if you like. My passion for NVC comes from the continuous near-daily use for several years. Before my NVC integration, I often experienced alexithymia “No Words for emotions” - a difficulty identifying, understanding, and describing one’s own emotions. NVC has expanded my consciousness of the world around me and quickened my self-advocacy to bring me into greater fulfillment and peace in my life. This is a very useful tool to have and there are nuances and limits in order to be effective to apply to real life situations. That's why this workshop is focused on application to real life situations. I’m so excited to bring this offering to my community for the second time this year. I hope to see you there! NON-VIOLENT COMMUNICATION (NVC) WORKSHOP This workshop is more geared towards those who have not yet implemented NVC into their daily lives AND it can be an excellent refresher for anyone who is rusty on the skills as well. If you attended the first workshop, I will be creating new examples so it will not be an exact repeat of the first event. We will approach this from a holistic healing perspective, treating it as a technology for expanding consciousness. First part we will jump straight into application workshopping, then we will do a little passive learning with a 15-minute snack break, then we will end with more real life application in group workshopping. Let’s nerdy-play together. :) Date & Time: **SUNDAY** September 27, 2026 | 4:00 PM–7:00 PM (15-minute social break with light snacks provided) Location: 1792 W Washington St., San Diego, CA 92103 (Mission Hills) Learning Outcomes * Use a self-responsibility communication framework * Recognize feelings, needs/values, and requests * Reduce judgment, blame, and shame * Cultivate compassion and understanding * Navigate difficult conversations confidently * Deepen connection with self and others * Improve positive self-talk for manifestation Workshop Pricing * $25 Early Bird (through Friday September 18, 2026) * $35 Regular Registration (through Saturday, September 26th, 2026) * $45 Day-Of Registration (Sunday, September 27, 2026) About the Host Dr. Nicolette Natrin (DACM, L.Ac.) is a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, holistic healer, artist, and educator. She has been studying and practicing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for over five years, integrating its healing principles into her personal relationships and clinical coaching. Recognizing the feelings and needs behind each relational interaction is one of the most powerful tools for healing.
