Wider Aperture is raising money for Nepali flood relief this New York Climate Week with a casual photowalk through Jackson Heights.
We’ll stop at various Nepali restaurants along the way to sample a variety of Nepali dishes. Join us for an afternoon of street photography and portraiture of us eating momos. This event is rain or shine. If it rains we will spend more time inside restaurants.
Meet at Threading Place (38-91 82nd St, Elmhurst, NY 11373) at 3PM on Sunday, Sept 20.
Suggested donation: $5 (but no one is turned away due to lack of funds!)
We will collect donations at the beginning of the walk.
Wider Aperture is a community of POC, queer, women and non-binary, and disabled photographers, but this photowalk is open to all. All skill levels and cameras are welcome as well!
This route is 100% ADA accessible and we are happy to share the route map with anyone who needs it. DM us if you have any questions.
