Congratulations, you survived summer! It was touch & go there for a bit, but the kids are back in school, and the heat is finally abating. You deserve a drink.
What better way to toast the promise of cooler temperatures, than another Friends of the Dallas Scotch Society Happy Hour?
For September, we're hitting up Barrel & Bones, located about as conveniently for everyone as you could ask for, right off Inwood & the Dallas Tollway (12300 Inwood Rd, Dallas). If you've been with us a while, you might remember their Carrolton location from '24, but we wanted to make sure this one was on your radar as well!
If you're not hip to Barrel & Bones, it's the brainchild of the Kelcher brothers, DFW restauranteurs who've been in the game since they got out of college. The men behind such iconic spots as Jack's Pub & Volleyball Club, Gypsy Tea Room, Dough Bros, and even our Addison fave: Ron's Place. So, their pedigree is top tier. For this concept they paired great whiskey ("Barrel") with great BBQ ("Bones"), and the result is your new favorite spot for dinner and a dram.
Oh! And did we mention that every Wednesday is WHISKEY Wednesday and they do $5 & $10 pours of a number of their offerings? Yeah, hard to beat that.
As always, this is an open, co-ed happy hour open to members and non-members alike. So, rally a few friends or DM that Hinge match, and come join us, won't you?
