Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, his creative foundation was shaped by the city’s rich culture, vibrant energy, and unmistakable sense of storytelling. He founded Joyhouse Studios with the vision of creating work that is both emotionally resonant and visually compelling—a practice that has grown from a small video studio in Louisiana’s bayou country into a nationally recognized creative studio based in California.
Known for blending artistic vision with intentional strategy, Michael creates imagery that captures authenticity, movement, and human connection. His work spans commercial campaigns, editorial photography, music, film, and creative direction, bringing a refined cinematic aesthetic to every project while remaining rooted in meaningful storytelling.
Today, Michael continues to expand his creative practice from California, collaborating with clients across the United States. Whether creating for global brands, influential artists, or mission-driven organizations, his work is guided by a simple philosophy: craft timeless visual experiences that inspire connection, elevate stories, and leave a lasting impact.
