Junk Journaling + Yapping + Giving Back There is a nonprofit called Love for Our Elders. They have sent over one million handwritten letters to elderly people around the world who are lonely and waiting for mail. Every month they share real profiles of real people, their names, their stories, their lives, and volunteers write to them directly. On April 12 the JJY community is joining them. We are going to sit together, read the April elder profiles, pick our person, and write them a handwritten spring letter. Then we are going to decorate a beautiful envelope to send it in and make a journal spread to keep for ourselves as a reminder that we showed up for someone that day. This is a hang out, not a class. There is no instruction, no pressure, and no experience required.
