Claude Code can now automate substantial portions of research documentation, generating mini-textbooks, interactive wikis, and structured knowledge bases from your research questions. This workshop teaches you how. Participants will work on creating their own research mini-website during the session, focusing on topics in prioritization research, EA cause areas, or related domains. Building a finished website would take longer, but this should be enough for a decent start. I'll demo some related projects I've recently made, including: - Delegation Risk: A structured mini-textbook with theory, case studies, and interactive tools (https://delegation-risk-framework.vercel.app/) - CAIRN: A comprehensive AI safety knowledge navigator covering risks, interventions, organizations, and key uncertainties (https://ea-crux-project.vercel.app/) Format: 1. Opening presentation: How Claude Code builds research websites, key techniques, and what makes topics well-suited for this approach 2. Hands-on session: Begin your own mini-website with guidance 3. Closing presentation: Share progress, discuss challenges, next steps Bring a laptop with Claude Code set up. Basic familiarity with Claude Code and the command line will be very useful. Logistics: Date/Time: 7:30 PM start. The main session will be 1.5 hours. Location: MOXSF, 4th floor Warning: ⚠️ The elevator is out of order. Plan to walk up three flights of stairs. Early dinner option: Arrive at 6:30 for the Mox-wide dinner before the workshop. Please flag in the RSVP if you plan to come early for dinner. Note: I'll also be giving a shorter version of this at this upcoming EAG SF in February. Organized by the Quantified Uncertainty Research Institute (QURI). https://quantifieduncertainty.org/
