Sessions 1-3: Saturdays - Sep 26, Oct 3, Oct 10 Sessions 4-6: Sundays - Nov 1, Nov 8, Nov 15 (No class on 10/17 & 10/24) 3:00-6:00pm $200 Early Registration | $240 after Sep 19th Working on a monologue is the ideal introduction to acting Shakespeare. In this in-person workshop, you'll learn a variety of techniques and exercises to help you act Shakespeare's language truthfully and with confidence. We'll learn about: • Shakespearean Script Analysis • Iambic Pentameter and using the verse to inform action and emotion • Using physicality to unlock the meaning of the language • Discovering and developing character objectives and motivations • Taking ownership of Shakespeare's words and performing with confidence Open to all experience levels | Limited to 6 participants About Your Instructor: Ryan Paul is an Austin-based actor, educator, and the founder of Acting Shakespeare.
