Working on a monologue is the ideal introduction to acting Shakespeare. In this in-person workshop, you'll learn a variety of techniques and exercises to help you act Shakespeare's language truthfully and with confidence.
We'll learn about:
• Shakespearean Script Analysis
• Iambic Pentameter and using the verse to inform action and emotion
• Using physicality to unlock the meaning of the language
• Discovering and developing character objectives and motivations
• Taking ownership of Shakespeare's words and performing with confidence
Open to all experience levels | Limited to 6 participants
