Hosted by the real
*◟*
The era of the AI generated images and videos is upon us — and with it a pandemic of deepfakes. AI tools like MidJourney and Dalle pose dramatic questions daily for the public to answer: How do you know if an image is real or fake? Come join us for a lively and thought-provoking discussion on the fun and fears of using popular AI imaging tools that will feature a live-AI demo with audience participation! We’re going to have a dynamic, nuanced conversation on how AI tools are starting to reshape our sense of reality while making it more difficult to know what to believe and what not to -- especially when AI tools have influence on such a massive scale. We plan to touch upon popular AI tool's effects on social media, disinformation, fame, art and of course psychology. Our panelists include: Eric Wilson, GOP Political Technologist Henry Jia, an AI developer for Amazon Web Services Matthew F. Ferraro, disinformation and deepfakes specialist and attorney at WilmerHale Philip Linder, an artist based in Washington DC The panel will be moderated by Nihal Krishan, Tech Reporter for FedScoop and CyberScoop This is an event that you won't want to miss! Wine reception on the rooftop to follow the conversation.
