Bring your journal & favourite pen 📓 🖊️
Join me on the eve of the New Moon for a night of reflection, creativity & intention-setting as we honour the past season of our lives & look toward the new 🌑🌿
This workshop is designed to help you reconnect with your inner child & artist while embracing the creative process with curiosity, compassion & play.
What to expect:
🧘♀️ Grounding exercises to center us in the present moment
✍️ Reflective writing prompts to explore our past, present & future
🎨 Emotional mapping with watercolour as the primary medium
💬 Group reflection & discussion to share insights & connections (Optional)
🌱 A compassionate, creative space to explore & express our true selves
This workshop encourages you to move through discomfort with a sense of wonder, releasing the need for perfection & focusing instead on the joy of creating. Through guided prompts & intuitive expression, you’ll discover how creativity can be a tool for healing, growth & connection.
This workshop (& everything I do, really) is deeply inspired by the work of activists, thinkers & artists—like Audre Lorde, Maya Angelou, Frida Kahlo, & Kurt Vonnegut (to name a few)—whose legacies remind me that creation is an act of resistance, healing & connection.
💫 No art experience is necessary—just an open heart & a willingness to explore!
🖌️ Supplies are provided, but bringing your own journal is highly encouraged!
Accessibility:
401 Richmond is wheelchair accessible, but this workshop does not currently offer any formal accessibility services. I’m committed to making this space as inclusive as possible, however, so please feel free to reach out if you have any accessibility needs or requests—I’d love to discuss how I can better support you!
This program is supported by Catapult Canada, powered by the Rideau Hall Foundation
