Welcome to Session 5: Vision & Values This week, we will be joined by a special guest: Patti Lautner, the founder of JP Cohousing, to give an overview of everything that goes into the planning stages of a co-buying group. From aligning long term vision, to organizational day to day matters, this is the most important part of every co-buying group! ------- A two-hour session where you walk through the full co-buying process on a real property you could actually acquire today. This program is free to attend. Most people assume homeownership is years away. This session will break that assumption. Restored Living is hosting a weekly gathering at the Foundry. Two hours, up to 20 people. A structured walk-through of how co-buying actually works in Massachusetts today. We'll start every week with a discussion. Housing in Greater Boston is broken in specific, documented ways, and the people who end up solving it for themselves usually do it by changing what they think is possible, not by waiting for conditions to improve. We bring in voices to push on that. The conversations will be energetic, optimistic, and rooted in solution. The rest of the session will be hands-on. You'll go through the full co-buying process from scratch: aligning on values and finances, identifying what you can afford as a group, and finding a real property, listed today, that the numbers support. If you come with people you'd consider buying with, you work through it together. If you come alone, you work through it with others in the room. By the end, you'll know where you actually stand. Limited to 20 people per session. Mondays at the Foundry in Kendall Square.
