A sunset mini trail walk + creative hang at Palmisano Park. Chicago has a quarry. Yes, really—and we’re catching it at golden hour. Join us for an easy-paced walk through Palmisano Park, a former limestone quarry transformed into prairie, wetlands, winding paths, and one of the city’s most unexpected skyline views. We’ll explore the quarry, make our way up the hill in time for sunset, then settle in for a low-key creative hang. Bring a book for some parallel reading, a journal, sketchbook, friendship bracelets, or whatever portable craft you’re currently obsessed with. No project? No problem—we’ll have a few supplies and conversation cards to share. Think: fresh air, golden-hour views, new friends, and zero pressure. Come solo, or bring your bestie, move at your own pace, and stay for as much of the sunset hang as you’d like! This is a women-centered gathering, and allies are welcome. No hiking experience—or outdoor credentials of any kind—required.
