Bad Movie Night Brooklyn is back at The Twisted Spine bookstore, and we'll be watching a pretty spooky oddity, The Mangler! Known by horror fans for its stellar combination of 3 horror icons (Directed by Tobe Hooper, Starring Robert Englund, and adapted from a story by Stephen King), The Mangler is a bizarre film that stumped critics and horror fans alike, and dared to ask the question, "What if a laundry press machine was possessed by satan?". Helping introduce the film will be Brooklyn Horror Host and all around ghoul guy, Martin Monster!
Plot: When an accident involving a folding machine at an old industrial laundromat occurs, detective John Hunton decides to investigate. What he finds is the eccentric owner of the laundry, the meanspirited Bill Gartley. Is there more to Bill Gartley than meets the eye, and why does it seem like the folding machine has acquired a taste for human flesh? It couldn't be alive... could it?
