ADBLOCK: Build your own hardware adblocker Tired of ads? Sick of corporations spying on you constantly through your devices? There’s a cheap and easy solution. The PiHole! We will be learning how to set up a “PiHole” on your home network to block ads, protect your data, and filter unwanted content with a very basic compute solution. The Pi-hole is a self-hosted, local DNS sinkhole that blocks ads and trackers across your entire network. More info at pi-hole.net Materials are not provided, so if you want to build one yourself, you will need to purchase materials separately beforehand. Otherwise, feel free to come and learn the process, ask questions, and try it hands-on.
