Bet Mishpachah is DC's egalitarian LGBTQ synagogue. Bet Mish was founded at a time when only those who were heteronormative could fully participate in synagogue life.  Our congregation now is celebrating its 50th year.  At Bet Mish, we put gay, lesbian, trans, nonbinary and queer identity at the center of our congregation, rather than offering mere acceptance. Our siddur reflects our commitment to a diversity of gender and sexual identities. We are looking forward to hosting the Capital Qvellers and friends on Friday November 14th for a happy hour and a Shabbat Service.  Rabbi Jake Singer Beilin and cantor Robyn Helzner will be leading services. Happy hour is at 7:00PM and the service is at 8:00 PM followed by an oneg. Location is the DC JCC on 16th St and Q St NW (entrance is on the Q St. side).
