Temporal Presents: Antaares, Bawab & Samaha
We’re excited to launch a new series at the Blind Liger: Temporal Presents.
While SONIDO continues as a home for our residents and local community, Temporal Presents is where we bring in artists from farther afield who are helping shape the sound we love: deep, hypnotic, groovy, psychedelic, percussive, emotional, and made for long nights on the dance floor.
For the first edition, we’re bringing together three artists who have been major references for us:
Antaares joins us from CDMX with a sound that moves through deep, trippy, and highly textured dance music.
Bawab comes from LA with a sharp ear for rhythm, pressure, and beautifully weird club sounds.
Samaha joins from Seattle to warm up the night in the living room with slow, warm grooves you didn’t know you needed.
Together, they represent a corner of dance music that has been very close to Temporal’s heart for a long time. Expect patient grooves, unexpected turns, and a night that slowly builds its way into a fiery dance floor.
Tickets start at $30 to keep things accessible. If you are able to contribute more, it helps us continue bringing artists like this to Portland. And as always, if cost is a barrier, reach out.
