We scroll. We swipe. We follow directions on a digital map. We pause, like, share - and move on. Our daily actions are increasingly shaped by apps, social media, and digital systems. They determine how we navigate, connect and spend our free time. Notifications, feeds, and algorithms guide what we see and how we respond. Over time, new patterns of behaviour emerge: how often we check our phones, what captures our attention, and how long we stay online. But what happens when even pleasure becomes a performance? When does relaxation turn into a form of labour? Through the lens of dopamine, this exhibition explores how attention, desire, and reward operate - and what kinds of stimuli we respond to. Artists Toni Brell, Sarah Friend, and Lotte Louise de Jong present works that explore stimulation, control, and the promise of reward. It examines how we orient ourselves, connect, and experience the world. HEDEN x Dopamine invites you to reflect on how we move, how we spend our time, and what keeps us coming back. HEDEN x Dopamine starts at 7:30pm, at Naauw 6-8 in Leeuwarden.
