Anonymous Anomalies PV

◕‿◕Anonymous Anomaly is a group exhibition stemming from the redefinition of an everyday space. Perpetual movements inform the state of places, boundaries become porous from their shifting contents, and form, in our instance, into the shape of a gallery.
In a city where spaces are constantly being framed in terms of rent, regulations, and private property, this exhibition endeavours to shift the perception of space as a tangible commodity to a communal agreement between the area and those attending it. We welcome works that choose to challenge our relationships with private spaces, and seek to transpose meaning onto a very non-neutral space.
Not all works presented will speak directly to the shift of state in physical space, but may instead impose their own histories and perform temporary transformations themselves, while interplaying with other artworks and their viewers.
By performing the ritual used to invoke this exhibition, the clearing of space, moving of personal items, removal of previous artworks, our habitation of the space will join in the transformation of the room.
Exhibition dates: September 26th (PV), 27th, 28th, 29th. Running from 6-8pm, with the PV occurring on September 26th from 6-9pm.
