Ramond T Ramond is an accomplished filmmaker and cinematographer, with a diverse portfolio that includes documentaries, short films, and feature films. Originally a singer-songwriter and studio engineer, he transitioned into film after relocating to the Bay Area in 2014, driven by a desire to meld his musical expertise with visual storytelling. His education at the San Francisco Film School and the Academy of Art University has honed a distinctive approach to filmmaking, particularly in the creation of "street musicals" that fuse urban music with authentic, gritty visuals. His style is marked by a focus on innovative lighting and color to craft stories that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant, centered on individuals in extraordinary situations. His work is a testament to his profound understanding of the human experience, making his films not just visually compelling but also emotionally engaging. THE GLASS DOOR - T. Ramond "After his brother vanishes while researching ancient portals to other realms, a skeptical man, aided by his girlfriend and a mysterious bookshop owner, uncovers a hidden world of supernatural horrors. Together, they must navigate the perilous threshold of 'The Glass Door' to unravel the truth behind the disappearance, facing their deepest fears and the possibility that some doors, once opened, can never be closed again." Max Ornstil Following a six-year professional soccer career, twenty-nine year old Max Ornstil is looking to bring a unique perspective to filmmaking. Despite an interest in the arts growing up, Max felt confined to sport while pursuing a childhood dream of playing professional soccer. After picking up a camera in the later stages of his career, he re-discovered a passion for storytelling and the art of film. As the current co-founder of soccer-inspired brand NEIGHBORHOOD SPORTS CLUB, Max is using storytelling, sport, and community as a vehicle for creating a more connected and inspired world. DARE TO DREAM- Max Ornstil Dare to Dream is a story of a young Max Ornstil discovering a letter from a present day version of himself, describing in detail his future of living out his dreams of becoming a professional soccer player and playing for his hometown club. The film explores how a kid with ambitious dreams would react to hearing how his future will unfold in front of him. PLAY ANYWHERE- Max Ornstil “Play Anywhere poignantly highlights the pressing issue of limited and inaccessible field space for the burgeoning football community in the Oakland and greater Bay Area. The film, written and produced by NSC, aims to draw attention to the challenges faced by local football enthusiasts who often find themselves without proper facilities to play the sport they love...Play Anywhere is a reminder that football is not just a sport; it is a unifying force that can transcend obstacles, bringing people together to play, compete, and forge lasting connections." - Penalty Online Janell Grace Janell is a creator, director, and screenwriter originally from Carson, CA located in the South Bay of Los Angeles. She created and produced the film and graphic novel, Love Conquers All. Janell graduated from The University of Texas Permian Basin where she obtained her B.A in History and a minor in Communication. He is the co-creator of the film and graphic novel, Love Conquers All. A graduate of Augustana University, Malik studied Philosophy and Psychology. Prior to his time in the tech industry, Malik worked as a residential counselor for a social services organization in South Dakota. From there he transitioned to working for a startup production company out of Los Angeles, before eventually settling on a career in software. LOVE CONQUERS ALL- Janell Grace and Malik Glass Inspired by real-life struggles, Love Conquers All is a film that explores the effects of trauma and turmoil on an individual’s mental state. The main character, Kennedy, has experienced multiple hardships in his life, the latest being the death of his older sister, Faith. Hesitant and confused as to what he should do, Kennedy attempts to reconcile his chaotic past and present. Those closest to him lend their care, especially his girlfriend, Rose - but ultimately Kennedy has the final say in his progression. Will he be able to pave a new path for himself? Love Conquers All was created first and foremost to illuminate the topic of mental health. It also emphasizes the importance of being aware of your own mental journey and being willing to seek help when needed. Safe $5 parking available at Franklin Parking Garage at 419 19st Oakland, CA.
