We have 2 special offerings for Queer Contours with Cristi during June ✍️🌟🌷 Join us for couples sessions and for longer poses to celebrate R.I.S.E. on Sunday, June 7 at 11:30am and on Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30pm🌅💫
Queer Contours, a figure drawing series created by Queer Expression and Cristi López, centers the often marginalized bodies that make up our beautifully diverse community.
Drawing has the potential to be an act of love and veneration towards the depicted subject. A figure drawing session presents an incredible opportunity to highlight all bodies in a respectful, non-exploitative light.
Cristi is a local artist, mental health advocate, and yoga teacher.
Her work illustrates the often invisible journeys of navigating mental illness, femininity, and faith. She aims to remind others that their unique, complex journeys deserve to be acknowledged without judgment. The neurodivergent mind is not to be relegated to the shadows; it is to be explored in full color.
Limited Spots available! This is a donation-based event with a suggested donation of $5-25. No one turned away for lack of funds. This is an uninstructed figure drawing series, but no experience is necessary.
18+ unless there is expressed parental consent due to nudity.
