Sarah Hepola is the author of the bestselling memoir, Blackout. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, The Guardian, the Atlantic, Texas Monthly, and Salon. She is a staff writer at the Dallas Morning News and co-conspirator of the culture podcast “Smoke ‘Em if You Got ‘Em.” She has a new book coming out in September 2026 called “The Only Thing There Is to Want: A Memoir of Three Loves”
