Dear friends,
I’m so happy to invite you to our next gathering at Le Trente, this time with Katia Dayan Vladimirova — researcher, double PhD, consultant, Substack writer (Post‑Growth Fashion), and founder of the sustainable underwear brand Well Rounded.
I’ve long wanted to open a conversation around fashion consumption, circularity, and the reality of our buying habits. After reflecting on my own patterns for a while, I know I’m not the only one in this community eager to talk about what we buy, why we buy, and how we can consume differently — with meaning, care, and intention.
Katia’s research looks at exactly these questions, exploring post‑growth values, closet sales, and our relationship with consumption from both an academic and human perspective. She’ll also share about her Substack, her brand, and the challenges of building work in a field that remains so under‑funded — yet deeply necessary.
The flow of the evening
– 6:30 pm – Arrival, drinks, and mingling
– 7:00 pm – Conversation with Katia
– 8:30 pm – Dinner is served
Contribution: 50 CHF per person (to cover food, drinks, and, as ever, my labour of love in the kitchen).

P.S. If you’ve never joined us before:
We share a homemade four‑dish dinner after the conversation, always vegetarian, with at least two gluten‑free and one vegan option (though I can’t promise more than one). A selection of drinks is served before and after the talk. It’s as much about enjoying food together as it is about connecting through ideas.
