The Heart Dept, in association with Southern Guild Los Angeles, invites you to an evening of Queer community, poetry and conversation hosted by Shelley Bruce, founder of The Heart Dept and a participant in Zanele Muholi's Faces and Phases 19. Poetry performances will be followed by book signings and a discussion on the topic of building bridges between community organizers and traditional art spaces.
