Let’s come together for an intimate evening where we honor how our capacity to grieve mirrors our capacity to love deeply. In this sacred container, we'll explore how these seemingly opposite emotions actually intertwine to create the full, raw texture of a life fully lived.
Our journey will unfold through several mindful practices:
We begin with intimate dyad shares where we'll voice our griefs in the presence of compassionate witness. Then we'll explore how these same experiences hold threads of profound love and gratitude—recognizing that we only grieve deeply what we have loved deeply.
Together, we'll create a communal mandala using natural elements—flower petals, stones, branches—weaving our stories into a tangible expression of beauty born from both joy and sorrow. As we speak aloud the names of those we've loved and lost (or the dreams and hopes deferred), we'll honor how these connections have shaped us, making us more human, more tender, more alive.
The evening culminates in a Circling practice where we'll inhabit the present moment together, allowing ourselves to be seen in the fullness of our emotional landscape—a landscape made richer and more vibrant precisely because we have dared to love knowing loss is inevitable. We will split into two smaller groups for a more intimate vibe.
This gathering offers a rare opportunity to experience how our wounds and our ecstasies aren't separate chapters but rather intertwined threads in the same beautiful tapestry. In witnessing each other's complete human experience, we remember that our grief is not the absence of love, but its continuation in another form.
Bring your authentic self and willingness to be present. All materials will be provided.
"The beauty of life is not diminished by grief, but illuminated by it—each sorrow a testament to a love strong enough to break our hearts open, again and again, making more room for life's wild wonder."
