Santa Barbara band The Cherry Club announces the Halloween show Nightmare on Cherry St. II, back for its second installation and a new theme, “Vampires of the Pit”!! 10/19 RSVP BEFORE SPACE FILLS UP. LIMITED SPACE. With live music from: The Cherry Club Orangepit! Big Hungry Uncle Located in the Dart Garden of the SB Funk Zone! An RSVP is a ticket for entrance, only $10❤️👻 Think of the night as a community gathering, we’re here to celebrate the local original music that blesses this town. Come for the food, the music, the costume contest, and make a new friend. This year we will have food vending chicken and vegetarian Mediterranean bowls🥬 come hungry!!!!!! A bake sale and Dart cart with hot chocolate and more💕 There will be a costume contest and costumes are HIGHLY encouraged! We want you to go all out!! 👯‍♀️ Tickets are only $10! Located in the funk zone of Santa Barbara, this event will be hosted in a large outdoor space and proceeds go to nonprofit La Casa de La Raza and the bands directly. More info on the bands: Hosted by The Cherry Club, this all women rock trio packs a punch. Mixed with the female angst of grunge and a modern indie voice, the group serves to carve space for women in rock and the SB scene. Orangepit! is an exciting addition to the night. Their holistic approach to songwriting, likely inspired by their deep love for Santa Barbara’s nature, makes for a show you won’t want to miss. Isla Vista band Big Hungry joins the lineup as a notable Santa Barbara vibe. They describe themselves as ravenously IV and tales of the ocean swells are heard throughout their sound. Uncle, what can we say about Uncle that you don’t already know?! We of course needed to include the spice of this alt rock, pop punk group to the party.
