Climate Anxiety Party & Chefs’ Challenge! 3 Chefs battle it out for fun featuring Beyond Meat sausages and 3 items they select from BESTIES. Chefs include Actress/Musician/TV Host Gabrielle Reyes, the musical vegan chef known as “One Great Vegan” seen on the Oprah tour, The Today Show, Good Morning America, NY Times, Popsugar & more! Our second chef is Reina Montenegro, Executive Chef at Laughing Monk San Francisco, known as the Queen of vegan Filipino and world cuisine, featured in Food Network, NY Times, Netflix, Forbes, and others. Our 3rd chef is MJ Guertin, restaurateur from Montreal, turned LA-based private chef who brings a punk-rock flair to every dish she creates. Judges include Genesis Butler (and her sister Zion), global climate activist and founder of Youth Climate Save, Jessica Cruz, founder of Vegan Street Fair/Vegan Exchange/Vegan Creator Con and Cesar Asebedo, co-founder of Plant Based Treaty LA. Everyone’s a winner! Hosted by Jane Velez-Mitchell of UnchainedTV, plus Organizers Paige, Daniel and Cesar of Plant Based Treaty, get your thrills watching this dynamic challenge, LIVE. Saturday, April 11th, from 2-4 at BESTIES Vegan Market at the Original Farmers Market, off Fairfax, a LA Climate Week hub. Parking in lots nearby.
