stop1 triumphantly returns to Hell Phone with 3 DJs, 1 lighting engineer, and hopefully you! The last party was such a privilege and a pleasure to throw, we hope to see you at Hell Phone on July 19 at 9pm. stop1 is an accessible and inclusive party between dinner and dancing that allows local DJs to explore their sound, enables people from diverse backgrounds to connect, and most importantly ensures everyone has an excellent, euphoric, and beautiful time. We have 3 DJs going B2B2B doing 30-minute slots all night, allowing them to dig deep in their record bags and truly express themselves throughout the party. MISE and DJ Spotify are a team built for stop1, having already played party before, they know the crowd, know the space, and how to get the room moving. Spinning deep cuts, energetic house, and mind bending techno, with these two, you never know what you're going to get but it will be guaranteed to be a good time. BYLD is a local staple in the Brooklyn queer dance scene. A bassist, vocalist, and DJ, BYLD brings deep musical knowledge to all of his gigs. Having played at Earthly Delights, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and all over the country playing bass, it's clear that he understands a dance floor. His sound is diverse, smooth, sexy, and refined, and his friends know how to turn a dance floor into a euphoric experience. You don't want to miss this. j.m. kettle is the organizer of stop1, committed to making inclusive and music-first environments for everyone. He constantly looks for ways to innovate the dance music scene. Seamlessly weaving together ambient, house, soul, techno, and breakbeat, j.m. sees his sets as more of an audible canvas with the crowd and tracks as his paintbrushes. He sees bringing high-quality dance music to everyone as his mission, and stop1 is the way he plans to spread the love and sound. Sotiris is a local lighting engineer and we are blessed to have him on the team. Having attended almost every high-quality party in the world and being a staple in the community, he knows that lighting can make or break a party. If you find yourself in a state of euphoric ecstasy, you'll know to thank Sotiris. stop1 is meant to be an inclusive party, it's free and welcoming. Whether it's your first dance music event or you're a regular at every club in the city, we welcome you with open arms. That being said, violence, non-consensual touching, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ageist or other discriminatory language, and leering are not allowed at the party. We will sell pre-rave essentials at the front of the venue so your next stops of the night can go smoothly. Dance floor is for Dancing! No Photos! We hope to see you there! <3 <3 <3 Free July 19 9pm-2am 247 Varet St
