◕‿↼The Poet Within presents a poetry night to fundraise for the devastating ongoing genocide happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo 🇨🇩. Millions and millions are facing inhumane and unjust treatment everyday, even right this very second.
Sunday 19th we are hoping to bring as many of us together to raise as many funds as possible to donate a latge sum to Friends of the Congo ( https://friendsofthecongo.org ) who are actively working to support those affected and rebuild communities lost.
Expect poetry that soothes the soul, Muscians who world build like no other and the chance for you yourself to get up on the mic! (Regardless of if you have performed before)
