Join us to celebrate theVERSEverse's newest member, Beat poet and cultural icon ALLEN GINSBERG, and the launch of an exciting poetry experiment fusing words and image, text and technology.
Timeline for the evening:
7pm: Doors open (art, music, drinks)
7:30pm: Poetry open mic hosted by Elisabeth Sweet
8pm: Panel Discussion: “The Past, Present and Future of Poetry,” with theVERSEverse, The Allen Ginsberg Estate and Fahey/Klein Gallery, plus special guests, legendary NYC poet Bob Holman and Bob Rosenthal, poet & Ginsberg's long time secretary.
8:30pm: Performance/presentation by theVERSEverse After Allen Ginsberg
8:45/9-10pm: Poetry party (art, music and drinks)
