Join us for a creative technology event at NYU’s Brooklyn campus featuring artists and practitioners who work with data as creative material. All talks and workshops are open until maximum room capacity is met, on a first come, first served basis.
If you plan to join, please only enter if you can commit to the full duration of the session — facilitators may turn away late arrivals or attendees who cannot stay, to protect the experience for everyone and ensure there are enough supplies.
Featuring:
Kevin Esherick on making hidden rules visible through latent painting, Charlotte Kent on the art history of generative systems, Anatola Araba on Afro Algorithms and bias as dataset, and others.
Then, build real-time audiovisual systems in TouchDesigner with Woody Poulard, construct a collective internet portrait with Spencer Chang's live browser extension, and more.
NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) is a graduate program at the intersection of art, engineering, and design.
