💘Dear Community Presents: Will you be my Valentine? (21+) 💘Friday 03/07, 6-8 PM 💘 Location: Lions Den, 57 Wentworth Pl, Chinatown SF 💘 Tickets : Free 💘Stars: Debbie Ly (@debbie.ly) + Michael Lai (@mtclai) Event Description: Get ready for 'Will You Be My Valentine'! Nonprofit Dear Community brings you an electrifying dating game show for singles in Chinatown. Two fabulous contenders are on a mission to find love in San Francisco. They'll dive into a pool of potential dates, battling it out with questions and challenges to discover their perfect match. But it's not just for singles! Everyone's invited to join our audience and support our love-seekers. Meet the Singles: Debbie Ly : Meet Debbie – Your Fun-Loving Foodie & Sports Fanatic! If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I bring the energy! Whether I’m whipping up something delicious in the kitchen or hunting down the best new restaurant in the Bay Area, I’m all about good food and great company. When I’m not indulging my inner foodie, you’ll probably find me courtside (or on my couch) watching basketball—I’m a huge Warriors fan and will never say no to a game at Chase Center! I also love catching the Giants at Oracle Park. But my absolute favorite thing? Live music. There’s nothing like the rush of seeing your favorite artist perform—whether it’s a stadium show or a music festival, I’m always down for the experience. I’m looking for someone who’s up for all of the above—a fun, adventurous guy who pays attention to the little things, has a great sense of humor, and isn’t afraid to dance like no one’s watching (or at least pretend to when I drag you to a concert). If that sounds like you, let’s make some unforgettable memories together! Michael Lai: Meet Michael Lai. His six-word story? ‘Former entrepreneur now fixing San Francisco.’ Michael grew up playing every sport imaginable, made his immigrant parents proud by going to Harvard, then immediately disappointed them by not becoming a doctor. Instead, he helped build a new global university and early childhood schools before diving into SF politics last year. When he’s not organizing communities, you can find him on karaoke & the dance floor, tracking down the best boba, or saying yes to spontaneous adventures. He’s hoping to find someone who’s sweet, sassy, and bold enough to impress his 81-year-old Chinese grandma. Application Full!
