SHARONLIKE
Sharon Like is a neon blue spider that hatched in Southern California in the early 1990s, and since that time, she has occupied many filthy corners in the periphery of Los Angeles. Prolific and rarely acknowledged, her work spans multiple disciplines: She’s produced rock music like that of San Pedro’s darling synth-punk outfit, Terminal A. She’s authored a diverse catalogue of studio projects. As a DJ, she has consistently played out uncategorizable music since 2009-ish, including a serial night called Post Glam Acid Disco. She’s also fronted an improvisational-noise-rock-performance-art-live-band called Trade Show. The thing she might be best known for is co-hosting a punk-centric radio show called No More Heroes with Tony Knox on KXLU 88.9 FM Los Angeles, every Friday from 3-6pm Pacific since 2021. An endless font of esoteric creativity, when Sharon cuts herself shaving, she bleeds art and music. But she can also make you shake your ass on the dancefloor, and you’ll have no idea what the track is.
